My Magical Journey to Dubai 6 - City Desert and Gold Souk

Dubai is a multi-faceted city. One moment you are walking along luxurious apartments and hotels, and another moment you are in the middle of some kind of a desert. You'll understand what I mean, when you see the pictures. I adore the view of the skyscrapers on the horizon of this sandy landscape, and what about you?

My Magical Journey to Dubai 5 - The Walk to Burj Al Arab

Hi everyone,
I hope you're not tired with Dubai yet:) I'm not. Even if you haven't been to Dubai, you've probably heard about Burj Al Arab, or have seen it on some photos. It's a luxury hotel, situated on an artificial island. Being just a student I can't afford living there, but I made some ppictures of it. I like the shape of this building, which is similar to a sail. Burj Al arab is also famous for having the highest tennis court in the world. I've made some pictures of it, too. You'll see them below.

My Magical Journey to Dubai 4 - On the Beach

Dubai is not only about shopping and sightseeing, it's also about swimming in the Persian Gulf and lazing on the beach. I'm sure I don't have to write much about it :) I LOVE to swim, sunbathe and walk in the sunshine, so I just took the delight in doing it. Below You can see some careless photos of my happy days on the beach, enjoy!

My Magical Journey to Dubai 3 - Dubai Metro

What have you heard about the Dubai Metro? It's driveless and fully automated, that is very cool, isn't it? :) But what I liked most is that the 44 of its 47 stations are open and don't run underground. I compare the Dubai Metro with Moscow and St.Petersburg ones, where almost every station is deep underground. Because of the elevated stations it's very interesting to travel on metro in Dubai.

Hi everyone,
here I am with more photos of Dubai. Have I already written that I had great time there?:) It's especially pleasant to think about this time now, when I have so much work to do at university. Dubai is a beautiful modern city, I'd return there over and over again.

 The highest building in the world, Burj Khalifa. Isn't it amazing? I was dreaming to see it!

Double DIY: Natallia

It is time for DIY again. Double DIY, in fact. Natalia is wearing a beautiful floral print skater skirt. It's one of the first pieces she made from start to finish, and honestly I'm very proud of her:) This skirt fits Nat perfectly. The second DIY thing here is a sleeveless shirt that I made quite a while ago. It’s very simple, but yet elegant.
